Temporary closure of Cumberland Street

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984: SECTION 14

TEMPORARY CLOSURE AND SUSPENSION OF NO ENTRY ON PART OF THE U3625 CUMBERLAND STREET, WOODBRIDGE

Suffolk County Council intends to make an order closing the U3625 Cumberland Street, Woodbridge from the junction with Station Road to the junction with Kingston Road to facilitate cabling to restore customer service. Other coordinated works may also take place during this period.

Access will be open for pedestrians and cyclists.

The diversion route will be Station Road, Quay Street and no vice versa.

For the duration of this closure there will be a suspension of the one-way and no entry provisions on the U3625 Cumberland Street to allow access and egress.

It is intended that the closure will operate from 30/05/2017 - 01/06/2017 from 9:30am – 3:30pm but if necessary the order may remain in force for 18 months (or longer if extended by the Minister).
